I read all the negative reviews but I’m glad I decided to take the risk and stay at this hotel. I’m quite strict on my expectations for accommodation so, you can believe my honest review. Yes, it’s an older building, there’s currently no housekeeping (but I don’t have a maid at home so, why should I expect one on vacation?), and the Wifi isn’t the best but, I got by for the 4 nights I stayed there. The main point is that the hotel room was clean! It had a refrigerator and microwave (which my room at one of the Hiltons did not have!), it had vending machines for snacks and drinks, the staff was good and overall, it was a wonderful experience. I’m actually very grateful that hotels like this one exist! If they had an expensive renovation to ‘modernise’ it, they would have to charge the exorbitant prices that most other hotels are charging. To pay more than AUD$1000 per night in other hotels, on top of the very expensive Disneyland tickets, Anaheim Express Inn Maingate made the trip more affordable at around AUD$305 per night. A huge difference in cost for the average family!

The location and price can’t be beat! If you’re looking for a place to stay for a quick one or two days at Disney, this is the spot for you! It’s obviously not a top rated hotel, but considering that you’ll be out for most of the day, this is a great place to crash. The staff were super nice and they didn’t even charge me for a security deposit! They just kept my card on file just in case! We visited mid August, the week where most schools start, so the place itself wasn’t packed, and the parking was fairly open! There’s a quick 10-15 minute walk to the Toy Story parking lot that has a free service shuttle that takes you straight to the entrance. Plus, you go through security before you enter the shuttle, so you get to skip the line at the park! The shuttle runs all day until 1am, so by the time my partner and I left the park, we were back at the parking lot in less than 10 mins! The area where this motel is felt very safe and it had lots of good dining options that are nearby!

The reviews were low for this place but we weren't looking for anything fancy as our main purpose is to really sightsee Anaheim for two days. But the room was bigger and clean and the staff that we dealt with in the morning at night were both extremely pleasant. We hope that this reaches them because the gentleman with the glasses in the morning was very nice and friendly and so was the woman that we dealt with that worked til 11pm. It is just unfortunate that I didn't catch their names. The room was much more spacious than the expensive one we paid by Manhattan Beach.

The location is great 7 mins from disneyland there is a Dennys , gas station and Mexican restaurant right next to the Motel. The beds were comfy thr room clean. Staff in the office were very nice and very helpful. The pool and hot tub is a plus. Less than 10 mins away and easy to find there is a Vons and a Target. Those were life savers especially with kiddos. Overall for the price it's a good stay if your on a budget not planning to spend lots of time in the room oh and free parking..

I liked the accommodation that the hotel staff provided, they where trained very well on how to answer any questions we had upon arrival and departure. The staff was very friendly all around, the only thing I wish they would have had was restaurants that had better hours near by, since they don't offer breakfast it was hard to find anything around 7am for a quick bite to eat when we left on Sunday, however everything else was phenomenal.
